Need your valuable suggestions on this issue.
Requirement:
An employee is entitled to 14 days of leave in a calendar year on pro-rata basis such that 14 leaves will be credited in employees Absence Quota(2006) on the very first of January every year or from his date of hiring, with validation of two years. These 14 days are calculated as per below formulas;
For example:
If Employee hire date 01.01.2015
Days in a calendar year 365
14/365=0.0383 quota in each day
Days for calendar year of employee=365
0.0383*365=14 leaves to be credited
I have done the configurations and the quota is being generated successfully via report RPTQTA00.
The only issue is that if an employee is hired in the mid of the calendar year his leaves should be credited as the number of days from his joining date till the end of calendar year.
For example:
If Employee hire date 01.08.2015
Days for calendar year 153 (calculated from hire date till end of calendar year)
14/365=0.0383 quota in each day
0.0383*153=5.8599 leaves to be credited
The report generates 14 days for this case as well which is incorrect as per the policy. I have selected the Pro rata calculation check button in Accrual entitlement tab page. Please suggest any resolution for this.
