Time Recording application in MSS

Hi ,

We are using MSS WD ABAP and in the homepage we customized the applications .Under Overview,we have the time recording application.

Below are the details of the time recording application and our client would like to have refresh button on left or top of the time recording application.

We are using the Z application configuration. Is it possible to Add refresh button to time recording application.

Also we would like default period to current quarter. Do I need to copy the component configuration HRESS_CC_CATS_APPR_SEL_1  to z version and make changes. How do we copy standard component configuration to Z version.
